The MyPressi Twist

In an earlier post about coffee culture, zxw commented about this portable espresso machine, that I only discovered a couple minutes ago. It's awesome, very convenient, except that in their websites video demonstration, everyone just ends up drinking the espresso straight, which is probably less common here in Australia, so I guess it would be a bonus when they incorporate a steamer or frother into it...... For now, I guess you would have to buy a portable milk frother to go along with it...or just get used to short blacks!

Nevertheless it is definitely very clever and convenient. From a gigantic machine to something that can be carried in your bag! Why is it called the "Twist"? Because there is a twist between the handle and the machine? hmmmmm.... or maybe because you have to twist the top to open it. hmm...

It uses gas cartridges, (the same thing that powers BB guns), meaning no power external power is needed. Just a trigger is hidden on the handle, which is held down for the pressure to force the water through the filter basket. (Oh and another tiny annoyance is that the water you put through it has to be hot...O.O )
